The facilities at the centre include, a reception area that includes some children’s toys, fitting rooms (male and female), plaster room for casting. There are no tea and coffee facilities in the centre but they can be bought from the hospital canteen.

The Centre is fully accessible to disabled people and people in wheelchairs.

Bus: buses run frequently to the Carlisle Infirmary from the centre of Carlisle and the surrounding area. Stagecoach No. 60,67 and 68 run every 10-15 minutes, but it is recommended that you contact the local service provider to check the timetables as they are subject to change.

Car: From M6: Exit at junction 43 and continue past the Tesco on your right and Rosehill Industrial Estate on your left. Continue forward and at the traffic lights turn right onto Victoria Place. Follow road passing Carlisle College on right. At traffic lights turn right onto Georgian Way and keep left. At roundabout take the first left onto Castle Way. Continue along castle way, on to Brigade Street moving into the right hand lane. Straight ahead at the traffic lights, at the roundabout take second exit into Caldcotes (signposted B5307-Kirkbride) and continue past Port Road Industrial Estate to the Cumberland Infirmary which is second right at the traffic lights.

Car parking facilities are available in the hospital grounds, but at times it is very busy so users need to allow adequate time to get to appointments. Charges are applicable. Disabled car parking spaces are also available outside the Centre.
